EPS 11 Blade Alternator Fan

Hi Pelicans,

I need to replace the 5 for an 11 blade Alternator fan on my 77S. I cannot justify the 750€ price tag on the early version (circa 74/75), so I have found a possible alternative.

It's by a company called EPS. I tried to include the link but no luck.
It certainly looks good but I would rather hear it from the horses mouth. Any of you had any experience with this fan?

Many thanks,
Jason

I recently acquired one to replace the stock 5-blade fan on a 2.7L rebuild I am doing. I must say, it looks great. It'll likely be the shiniest, newest looking part on the engine when it's done... (engine is still in pieces so I haven't run it w/the fan yet)...

As far as I can tell, the EPS fan is a good option as OEM new ones are big $$ and good used ones are hard to come by and still likely $$...

A friend of mine is going to be posting a new fan and fan shroud for sale in the next day or so... keep your eyes on the 911 classified forum...

A 77s used the later ratio fan with the circle of small holes on the pulley halfs. 78/79 is too small but 80 to 89 will work. I think on a 77 it will require the 725 fan belt because of the larger crank pulley.

Thanks for your feedback Gents,

From what I have read so far the pulley half should be 3.25" diameter for the later spec fans (80-89) Does this sound correct to you ?
My old pulley half is that diameter but it is the type with the extra belt for the additional air pump, which I have removed.

Cheers,
Jason
