 Bo, I paid $200 just to rebush and resize big end at a local machine shop.  No balancing factored in.  :( Wished I'd have known about CE the 1st go 'round with my rods. |

 "Is that your rig? Home built?" Yes and yes. It works well. The trick is use long chains to support both ends to get repeatability. I did mine to .1 g, overkill for sure. The spread on the factory balance was 3.7g on the total rod weights but 7.2 g on the small ends. |

 That is awesome!!! Yes, I couldn't get repeatibility the way I was doing it. Locating dowels and the chains alleviate that I see. When I used to moment-weigh parts, I had dedicated fixtures made of thick SS. |
