Is there anything that I should be aware of before purchasing a set of used carrillo rods?

Thanks

Have them x-rayed & check the end to end length.I use to use them for a CP SCCA engine that was 66 x 91mm.2575 cc.They would develop cracks at the bottom of the beam just above the big end.I always thought it was because they were made for a 2.0L Motor and overstressed as I used them.Ciao

Curious, did you blend out the cracks and NDT, or totally scrap them?
