1971 Porsche 911 2.2T/S bearing
Looking for opinions on what rod/main bearings to use for the car? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sebastian

Assuming your crank is Std/Std, main bearings from a Porsche dealership might have better tolerance specs than other over the counter Glyco main bearings. The main bearings do not seem to have any problems compared to the rod bearings. 2 choices for rod bearings; Glyco rod bearings or Clevite 77 H rod bearings. Glyco rod bearings seem to have some problems with wear & tolerance's compared to the Clevite bearings.
Is your engine build going to be stock?

Mark,
Everything in the motor is STD specs. Case was gone thru by Ollies. I'm building a 2.2S motor out of a spare 2.2T case that came with my car.
