It appears that I have a slight leak on my 72 911 oil filter mount. I ordered the gasket but thought I would reach out to see if anyone has changed one of these out in the past . (I'm rookie ) I assume I need to drop the oil ( both locations) remove the oil filter and unbolt the mount. Does anyone know if there is and "O" ring inside the mount that would need to be replaced as well, I can't seem to find it when I search for the parts.
I think 72 is the only year with the external oil fill/ dip stick and I'm assuming the only year with this designed oil filter mount .
