911 race cams and head recess
I am in the process of rebuilding a 2.0 911 race engine but I cannot find any info on the cam timing.
Casting number 901 105 134 0R Stamped on back 594 595 Etched on back "Full Race" Stamped on front 03 Inlet valve lift @ 0.004" clearance 12.54mm ( 0.494") A previous builder has machined a lot from the head faces where the gasket touches but hasn`t machined the recess at all.Instead he`s machined the top of the barrels.I`m replacing all barrels and pistons and need to know what the dimension is for the head recess. Can anyone help please? Thank you |

Just found a 594/595 grind on Webcam's website with listed inlet valve lift of .5", so sounds like it's probably yours. Give them a call and they should be able to tell you what you need. (Edit: for the cam timing, I mean)

No problem.
Re: the head/cylinder mating area, post a pic of the parts in question, and perhaps someone can chime in. |
