Warm Up Regulator Dealer

Hello all: trying to replace my warm up regulator and can't find a replacement for the life of me. Part number is 0438.140.090, which I understand is fairly common for the 1983 911sc. Does anyone know a reputable dealer? Thank you.

Search for Tony user name boyt911sc and shoot him a PM. Or email.
Or just wait a day or 2 as he usually reads and posts in this area of the forums.

That's an excellent question akin to some long standing ones of mine.

Does anyone know of a Bosch/Porsche licensed dealer which services the 911 0438140xxx WUR's? Second, are these parts officially NLA and without any replacements available today ?

Not asking these spuriously, the answers are relevant to many parties especially to my second question.

P.S. It's interesting the 2.7 WUR appears to be still available new from our host but nothing else.

Tony user name boyt911sc - He has done about 10 WUR's and the same for the fuel distributors. They come back looking and working like new. He will do our next 10.

Found this "1:1 REMAN service" from Bosch Classic for classic car parts while trying to answer my own questions above.

This looks like the way to go if you plan on going the official route. Most of the 911 parts appear covered as listed.

Quote:

With 1:1 REMAN service, Bosch Classic makes it possible for you to have specific products refurbished. At present, this service covers the following products.

Important hint: The refurbishing service 1:1 REMAN is offered only to workshops at present. As an end customer you can contact your local Bosch Service.

For a binding offer please use the form.

I believe Larry is the CIS Bosch Distributor. He did two WUR's for me on two different 911's.
