Base settings for Zenith carb rebuild
Hey all, all my parts are cleaned and inspected, about to start putting my carbs back together.
Can anyone suggest good base settings for the Zenith carbs to get the engine started with? My specific build is a stock 2.2T. Because pictures are everything, here's a couple. my 3D model of the carbs, not complete but getting there. http://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4578/38...8d2a6cce_c.jpg More here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-engine-rebuilding-forum/971257-3d-model-render-work-2-2t-motor-im-building-6.html And the carb rebuild I was doing last year at this time for my current/previous engine. http://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8678/28...b9e47024_c.jpg |
Have you seen this:
Zenith 40 TIN Carburettor Manual From this website: Zenith Carburettor Manual That website, along with information found digging through Paul Abbott's site (Weber focussed but still applicable to Zeniths) provided invaluable information to greatly improve the performance of my carbs. ...and I just remembered - this thread is very useful:
