PMO - Trouble getting response
Hi,
I'm trying to get in touch with PMO to place an order, but am not managing to get a response from them. Have sent a fax and reached out to Richard directly, but nothing. Does anyone know of any reasons why they are not responding? Thanks! |

Perhaps I can help. What do you need? |
Yes, that has been my previous experience as well. I'm in need of a complete set of 46 mm carbs. The shop doing my engine reached out last week, and I have as well following discussions this fall, but now we cannot get hold of them.
Please DM if better. Thanks! |
I know someone with two of them with manifolds in like new condition that may be for sale. I'm pretty sure they are 46mm versions.
they are in S. florida but I don't know where you live. |
Ok, could definitely be of interest if in good condition. Please let me know. I'm based in Sweden, but could probably arrange for them to be picked up. Otherwise I could arrange for them to be shipped.

I just called him and I got voicemail. I left a message telling him somebody on the Pelican forums is looking for a set of 46mm PMO carbs for a 911. I'll email him a link to your post. He's a really nice guy. The carbs have little use and really look like new.

They were on a Euro 3.0 that was tracked occasionally. They're in an air conditioned warehouse right now.
The guy that has them bought the car and because the value of these cars in original condition has gone up alot we took them off and put 3.0 CIS back on it. I think they have velocity stacks on them and the throttle linkage is with them. I think there are air cleaners that go with them too. Jim |
I just talked to the owner and he has some more stuff he'd like to sell that was on the european model 3.0 Carrera with the 46mm PMO carbs. It's all in great condition and he would sell stuff seperately.
The carbs have 38mm venturi's in them and he has the throttle linkage, velocity stacks, and K&N air filters for them. He also has twin plug 3.0 Euro heads that were on the car, Electromotive coil pack ignition with an aluminum crank pulley to trigger it, an aluminum plug for where a distributor would go, and a set of Crane cams that were in the motor. We don't know what the cam specs are but they were for tracking. He has a video of the engine running with the carbs and cams. He said it's OK to put his contact info here. He's from Norway and his name is Olaf. His Florida number is 561-762-0085 I hope it works out. |
