Billet Cams
What are the thoughts on billet cams. My cams have been checked by Web Cam and are not of the quality I was looking for. Input is welcome. This is for a 964 motor.

I think billet cams are a good way to go as not too much more than a weld and regrind.
I bought a set of new DC80 billet cams from John Dougherty a few years back and they fit perfect. I had my rockers resurfaced at same time which was recommended to minimize premature wear. |

Billet
Most all cam grinders are using new billets, the old way of welding/grinding is a time consuming process, or if its a small change they end up grinding away some of the base circle (heel) to create lift and that wrecks the rocker geometry or the addition of lash caps etc...
