'75 911S w/sic. Have a consistent starting the motor problem when the motor is cold. Have done the pop offs and checked the injection, fuel lines, filter, timing et al. Any ideas?

problem only when cold? How about 1 hr after engine is off? If so check fuel accumulator.

If not, check WUR cold pressure.

Tks Aaron. I’m constantly adjusting the throttle lever to get the right mix resulting in long waits between cranking & starting.
Pls educate the uneducated here. How does the WUR cold pressure valve work? Again, tks for taking the time

Hell if I know....I'm an MFI guy :)

I can tell you that system pressures dictate everything . If they are not within specs then there is an issue. Some people adjust the WUR to alter the system pressures. but I believe they are working around the real problem...like the fuel distributor may need service or the WUR is requiring recalibration...or both.

And then there are air leaks..that system has a great deal of potential leaks!
