911 Engine test stand
 
Would like to build an engine test stand. Any good picture of what you have or like. Thanks, Mark

oh well, here's mine:
 
Hi, I guess "it depends": mine is super simple, just to make sure the engine runs and do some basic tuning of the MFI and the throttle linkages. It helped me identify a small leak from a base cylinder gasket, and also some ageing brings on the oil console.

It's basically just a recouped frame fixture onto which the rear mounting bolts are secured. I even use long threaded rods to raise, lower and adjust the engine height. The ancillary components (electrics, pump, oil tank) are just secured with screws and some scrap metal.
