yea, raising 1st much will make it tougher on the street. but I do not intend to use it for daily, short trips. but for nice long drives mainly in the country .... or on a race track...

from reading that other thread, raising 1st made it usable on the track for those few tight, hair pin, slow corners....

talking to another guy who tracks his 930, he has stock gearing and says he spends almost his entire track time in 2nd, but goes to 3rd on the straight. 2nd can bog down on the slow corners...

no decision yet.

I think the biggest challenge is 4th.

keep too high and on the track have to shift up to 4th with a big rpm drop. currently I hit 130 on the straights in my 951.

drop it too low and highway cruising will have the revs too high for comfort.

dang the compromises for a track/street car.....
