I traded a K27 turbo for a K27/K29 turbo with a board member here 3 years ago (PM me if you want to know who) who claimed the turbo had been rebuilt by Durabilt (it wasn't, as it turned out).
It pumped out more oil than the Exxon Valdes. Cause was a turbine impeller with FOD (foreign object damage). This causes an out-of-balance condition that pumps oil out of the bearing area. I had Durabilt repair it and it's been great since.
The good news was total cost ended up being slightly less than buying from a reputable supplier so I dodged a bullet there.
