What Do I Have Going On Now ??

I'm still working on getting my $1k driver on the road.

I've got the idle dialed in. ( Was too rich )

I figured out with Brad's info. That the Throttle Position Switch is tits up. Unplugged it and it runs smooth.

But some thing else is goofy. The car starts sputtering at 3000 rpms ( 1/3 throttle), with little or no power. ( This is with the TPS unplugged ). But it was acting the same way last night with the TPS plugged in.

After rereading the Timing Tech Article. The hoses should be disconnected and plugged. They weren't when I checked it.
So we know timing is wrong.

But its load specific. Sitting in neutral, it revs to 5k without a beat or miss. ( TPS unlpugged ). Go out and drive it. Anything past 1/3 throttle and it goes to sputtering.

Thoughts ???

The kids did wash it yesterday, so I'll open the Distributor Cap and check for moisture.
