Two things: 1) not difficult to re-cover them, and 2) easy to clean with an interior cleaner product and a toothbrush. The bristles of a toothbrush are soft enough to agitate the suede and lift it so it doesn't show wear. I employ this method in cleaning the interior on my GTS.
