Thank you for the kind words Tidy. I’m Rick Hartbrodt owner of A fellow Pelicaner tipped me off about this thread. Tidy has it right about offset and filling out wheel wells and original exposed paddles look. Seems most of us want more “lip” and Turbo Fuchs remain popular for just that reason. I’m backdating my ’88 coupe into a 1974 Ducktail Carrera using 7’s and 8’s. They look great but the rear wheel well needs to be filled out just a tad more so I’m going to have to put a spacer on the car. 951 wheels, 944 Turbo, would have done the trick but I did not have any around. The wheels while looking great on the floor (or hanging on your wall ☺ ) will transform your car. Restored wheels with fresh anodizing remains the least expensive way to improve the overall appearance of your ride.
