This is a very original car, and has clearly been in an accident at some point, I think late 1980’s or early 1990’s.
The repair involved a new front right fender, and probably a hood.
The fender is clearly from an earlier car – as there is an antenna hole (I installed an antenna when I first obtained the car – there was a rubber plug in the hole).
The only real fault with this car is that the repair was not done to a high standard.

I purchased the car in 2009, without records and at about 108,000 miles.
I addressed a number of areas that needed attention, but have not done anything with paint or body.
I have done ball joints, front Elephant polybronze A-arm bushings, and Bilstein struts.
Blasted and painted all pieces that were off the car at the time.
Rear Elephant Racing rubber bushings were used on the trailing arm pivots.
New Bilstein HD shocks were used in the rear.
Front and rear brake calipers were removed, blasted and seals/boots replaced. Calipers were painted at that time. Stainless hoses were installed, along with new wear sensors, pads and rotors.
Steering rack was opened, cleaned and lubed. A bump steer kit and turbo tie rods installed.
I set the ride height a little lower than euro. Corner balanced and aligned.

Car has a factory LSD (confirmed by case code as well as turning one wheel – the other turns in the same direction).
Car has factory short shift option. I replaced coupling.
I replaced the gear oil with proper viscosity and type. Shifts smooth.
CV shafts replaced complete.

I installed a fabspeed cat bypass – a very nice piece!
Steve Wong chip – to match the cat bypass. I have original also.
The Motronic “Barn Door” was opened and adjusted so that a “clean” path was available for the wiper arm. Was not running well as a result of a worn patch in the rheostat.
New plugs, new wires (Clewett), new O2 sensor and a valve adjustment at that time.

I have been driving the car casually (Nice days when no chance of rain) since then.

Seats are in excellent condition. Some wear – but no tears. One axis in the drivers’ seat electric controls is not working. I have not had the guts to tear into that yet.
Carpet is all original and in great shape.
All factory floormats are in the car, also in great shape.
I use Lloyd’s mats for day to day use.
Door panels are in great shape – but the factory speakers were replaced before my ownership.
Radio is aftermarket. I do not have the original
Rear speakers and grills appear to be original.
Headliner is in pretty good shape. One tear near the zipper.
Sunroof interior panel is out. I picked up a replacement frame, but it is not upholstered. That will be included with the car.
Dashboard was clearly removed when repaired, and is not installed well. I think pulling windshield and dash out and putting back in in the correct sequence would fix this.

Original 7’s and 8’s. 16”.
Original condition. Rims have factory anodizing and are in very good shape overall. A few scratches from somebody being careless with the weights in the past.
Centers are still original anodizing. Have not been painted over.
Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT. I installed them when suspension work was done.

I’m going on memory for this description because I would like to get the car posted this weekend. All of the work was done in 2009/2010 and I have been enjoying the car since then.
A couple of job moves (relocated to & from ATL), as well as kids getting big have prevented the kind of time and energy to be put into this car in the last 5 years.

The negatives:
Paint & body – could be addressed with a repaint to transform this nice car into a very nice car.
A few things do not work properly, such as the cigarette lighter and windshield sprayers.
Headlights work. Directional signals work. For some reason, not together. I have a new turn signal switch (OEM), as well as a new headlight switch. Just have not gotten to it (see above).

I have original spare, jack and most of the tool kit. Did not come with air compressor.
3 keys and owners' manuals as shown in photos.

I am probably missing some info – but think that the above is enough to get a conversation started.
