It's going to be a tight squeeze, but I think you can probably get a wrench between the air box housing where the filter sits and the back of the air flow sensor . You should be able to get to the top of your green and red screws without removing the boot. The nuts pictured in the schematic are there (see the top of your red arrow) The rear screw has a washer and nut on top of the air flow sensor, the front screw has the same, but the nut sits in a little hex well inside the plastic connector for the AFS electrical connector.
