The full suspension refresh project continues, however very slowly. Just hit another roadblock. Can't get the damn height adjustment lever off. Used a pry bar to slide it off but nothing. Is there any tricks to this?
I tried hitting the torsion bar from the front of the car didn't budge. I thought this would make the torsion bar slide together with the adjustment lever out but it didn't. I tried hitting the torsion bar from the rear of the car side thinking the torsion bar would slide up front and leave the adjustment arm behind but nothing. Been going at this for 1.5 hrs finally gave up. There's no tension anywhere on the suspension, sway bar is disconnected. Struts are off.
HELP!!! I need this suspension off!
