If you want to fit a G50 into your 1987 930 chassis you must either:
a) shorten the transmissions
b) cut out the center of your torsion bar housing and weld in a G50 version -- now you need new custom 930/G50 torsion bars, or convert to coil-overs
c) cut out the center of the torsion bar housing and plate it, reinforce it, and tie it back to the chassis; and still convert to coil-overs
