Speaking of ignition coils

Thought Id go ahead replace my nearly 40 year old coil before it gives up..

A quick search shows that the $345 dollar replacement coils porsche are selling are absolute junk breaking in a few weeks.

Brazilian silver coils (the one porsche is currently selling) are very steep at $345 and have read they operate poorly with CDI ignition systems. They can fail at any time sometimes in as little as a few weeks.

So after days of searching Ive found two possible options.

#1 NOS

#2 Reproduction

This reproduction coil seems to be OK..

Ignition Coil - Classic Retrofit

Wondering if anyone has purchased one of these or bought a new porsche coil?
