An attempt to explain exactly what it is I'm doing in the garage all day . . .
Jig Is Coming Together

I posted a picture of the pieces in the project thread and will likely post more before the end of the week; the legs are all on and solidly welded. I'm just waiting for my .25" plates to be finished so that I can weld the nuts onto the inside and weld the plates to the legs.
Didn't realize that it had been nearly a year to the day between posts here. Oh well. Some projects move faster than others. Where others have money that allows them to complete their endeavors (which would be great) I only have patience and whatever time I'm to be given. And what I've learned about working metal in the last five years beats the tar out of the education I received during the first decade . . . sure, solid employment would be fun but I'm not certain that it beats sitting in a garage listening to 50-year-old music and figuring out how to bend steel into exotic shapes at will.
I'll post another pic of the jig pieces here. A special thanks to Scott Shannon for playing music that doesn't suck.
