My project car

Posted 05-27-2008 at 06:00 AM by jcunning

A real blog! Very cool!

Last summer (2007), I explained to my wife that I was bored and needed something to do. After some conversations about how my SAAB SPG is pretty much perfect and the garage misses me, she suggested I pick up another project car...

I was very surprised by this, but it started the ball rolling. I first had to decide which car to focus on. There is a long list of 1970-80's sports cars that I wouldn't mind owning.

After some research...

Blackbird, the 'Reaper' story

The Porsche 935, for many just the thought of such a legend conjures images of epic battles at Daytona, flame throwing shifts and the great Norbert Singer. I approached 911 ownership in a different way than most, it all started with a lover’s words…

While celebrating my second birthday (25) since I had been married to my lovely wife Erin, knowing I’m a man who has all that I could possibly want, asked me what I would like as a gift. The usual response was something easily forgettable,...

"NA" general question

Posted 08-29-2008 at 11:38 AM by bobbydirl

It seems I remember back in the early eighties that the Turbo model came out a couple of years after I bought my 944 in 1983. Yet, I keep seeing reference to "83 944 NA". or ..."N/A". I assume "NA" means "normally aspirated".

Are these after market upgrades, or am I missing something?

If this is a stupid question, my apologies ahead of time... I have only recently begun to research the car seriously.

SO, He said that I have to replace the ''Radial Shaft Seal''. Well, the real problem my friends is that I CAN NOT take the Porsche to the dealer and have it checked. I am in Europe (Monte Negro) on vacation and there is no Porsche dealership so I am afraid to take it just to any shop because in 1 mo....
