Picking out the engine

Now that the car was mine and was being painted, I needed to source a good engine and tranny for the car.
There are three main choices for this chassis. 3.0, 3.2 and 3.6 with a 915 tranny. Each one has its own pros and cons varying from reliability, cost to purchase, complexity of install, horsepower, etc...
In the end, I decided that a 3.2 was the best choice. It has electronic fuel injection and timing, and is almost plug and play.
I sourced a complete 3.2 takeout engine and tranny from a somewhat local recycler. I spent the next two months learning all about the engine and tranny while doing a lot of preventative maintenance items. I replaced all of the seals that might cause oil leaks, some of the fuel lines, rebuilt the fuel injectors, replaced all of the exhaust studs with ARP Stainless steel, and repainted the engine tins.
Since this engine was going into an SC chassis, I also spent a lot of time going through the 3.2 wiring harness and internet resources trying to make sure I knew what I was in for to make the swap complete.
