My Octagon Rotisserie, Part II

Success! The front and rear octagons are now mounted to the car. And, I have the longitudinals mounted. I ended up drilling two holes per longitudinal mounting point. This gave me a little wriggle room as, once bolted up, the octagon wasn't quite true.

The front bolts (8mm, 1.25 pitch) measured 28 17/32". I drilled the holes on the front cross member and it bolted up perfectly.

924S fuel & spark but no injector pulses

87 924S running great when taken off the road for the winter 6 weeks ago. Winter project fix oil leak (cam to head gasket) and valve job. Got it all back together and it turns over but will not fire (not at all)

A. I have spark (Pulled #1 plug and saw it sparking).
B. I have fuel (strong flow, verified at end of fuel rail) so not the DME relay.
C. I have compression (compression test ok)
D. Tach is bouncing when it is cranking so I think sensors (speed and...

911 radio not working

anybody have any troubleshooting hints to find out why the radio stopped working? Fuse in the fuse box seems to be working, not sure what else to check.

I still wonder somtimes who reads this blog.
I mean, I sit there and see the numbers of views.
Then I go, really? More interestly is that nobody
seems brave enough to infact say hello.

I've not been on here, have not had much time.
So whats new? Hmmm, I decided on building a
retreat home. It's like a private work facility too.
I like that I can work and escape home or work.
It allows me to be much more technical...

Brewing Beer

This past spring semester, I had a chance to take Chem180, beer and brewing. To condense the class into a sentence, it taught me everything I needed to know to go out and brew an all-grain batch of beer right out the chute…and I got an A.

My first batch was an American Pale Ale. It turned out a little bitter as the American styles normally do. And, it had a distinct off-taste but otherwise was totally drinkable. I had a small party with about 12 people and floated my 5 gallon...
