944 Driver Side Floorwell Fluid Leak

Posted 08-01-2009 at 11:16 AM by superman5

Hi

I have a question and thought maybe someone on here could help me with it.

I have a '87 944 standard. Since I purchased it, there's been a slow fluid leak on the driver's side. I can not find where it's coming from, but the carpet is soaked in it. It's sad because the car itself is in excellent condition, with less than 150K miles on it.

If someone knows what fluid this is please let me know. It looks like power steering fluid but it's not because that one is only leaking very little and I don't think it has access to the interior of the car.

I will appreciate any help.

Thank you.
