Fader Hookup:

The fader can probably be hooked up 6 different ways and still work. The fader switch can also be installed upside down. The diagram shows how the fader was installed in my car with the fader oriented so the red wire was on the right if viewing it from the front of the console.
The two out of the six wires to worry about are the red and blue. These are the + inputs for the fader. If you still have a connector on your fader then the blue and red are centered in this connector. See pictures.

Connect Right+ to Red
Connect Left + to Blue
Connect Right Front + to Green
Connect Left Front + to Black
Connect Right Rear + to Purple
Connect Left Rear + to Brown
Again probably 6 different ways to wire this fader and still get it to work. The thing to remember is Red and Blue are + input. Keep the right + speaker wires together on one side and the left + speaker wires together on the other side. Wires above red and blue are front and wires below red and blue are rear.

My 1984 Porsche 911 was hooked up with the new stereo so that the 4 channels skipped the fader and connected directly to the speaker wires under the dash.
