Ok so I have a 1994 318i. I've pulled the motor and dropping in a motor from a 2001 330i. I realize I need a new pedal with electronic potonsiometer. Will the pedal assembly from the e46 plug and play.?i also realize I will have to do some wire spicing from old harness to new harness. And driveshaft will need customizing. Exhaust etc. Anything else you might think of would be a big help.

I would try to adapt the 330i engine to an earlier throttle cable type engine management system, then adapt the E30 cable to connect to the throttle body, you will lose a little bit in diameter but in that car power should not be a big issue! I will create a post in our forums and hopefully another member can help out. Sounds like a very cool project!
