Question Oil Separator Valve (aka crankcase valve)

Yes, it seems I have a lot to do on this car....

The car makes a "honking" noise while stationary, and I've been told there is a hole in the diaphragm of this valve causing this.

Has anyone replaced this valve before? It appears to be underneath the intake manifold. Just curious about your experience and anything to watch out for. For example, do I have to replace all the gaskets on the intake manifold after removing it (assuming they "look okay")?
