Oil in coolant deposit

Hi,

I have a BMW 330xi 2002 american version, and I noticed it has oil in the coolant deposit of the radiator. I don't know if it is transmission oil or engine oil and what is causing the problem. My car was sitting idle for 5 years and ever since I turned it on again, it started to give me a few different problems, this being the worse, I assume.

The second problem I noticed is that the gas gauge in the dashboard is not marking correctly. It is marking always full or half tank, nothing else.

There are no BMW mechanics in the area were i have the car parked, so it has been very difficult to get someone to give me a precise diagnostic of the issue.

Any help about this problems I can get here, will be very helpful and highly appreciated.
