looking for advice on selling 2001
What is the best place to put an add for a 2001 330ci? I tried auto trader online and magazine but had very little luck. A few friends have had the same experience so I am looking for any advice?
thanks |

I beleive the reason you had bad luck with auto trader is no so much auto trader's fault; but more the fault of the economy. Most people can buy new cars for the same payment or less as compared to 1 or 2 year old cars; because of low lease rates and manufacturer insentives for loans.

That is what I was thinking as well but hoping that someone would appreciate a great deal and pick it up. At the moment I am just leasing it out to someone while they are trying to find a new car and keeping a for sale sign in the window and at least the payments are being made for the next 90 days. All advice is appreciated.

Even though it sounds good that someone is making your car payment, but who is going to pay for repairs after the 3 month period that may have been caused by any sorth of abuse or miss use of the automobile?

unfortunately that is yours truly but at least what I save on 3 months payments helps to soften any expenses, and hoping that the person leasing falls in love with it like I did. Part of the deal is they have to drive around with a for sale sign in it.

Sold our 323iT to Carmax... Gave us 2K over what the BMW dealer was going to give us as a trade-in, but still not as much as what it was really worth... but at least it's out of our hair... (And it's been for sale on their lot for over 2 weeks now... still not sold... tight market!)
