Hi All,
My wife's car is a 2000 323i that is in need of a better set of all season tires. The current tires have about another year of life in them; however, they are horrible in snow. Any suggestions?

My wife, too, drives the BMW and it's the worst thing in the snow...
EXCEPT since we purchased a winter only Blizzack. I've never heard a complaint from people using them for Winter use only. In fact, I so highly recommend them I'll tell you this - when it snows, we take the BMW now; it's more safe. Also, I add 150# of salt to the trunk in small bags that can be used IF there were a traction problem. Seriously, it's worth considering buying a cheap rim / Blizzack set from TireRack.com. I believe these are Bridgestone tires, but two companies have merged since I purchased them, so who knows!? Good luck!

Thanks for the input Jake.
I was leaning toward one set of all seasons, but the idea of getting a cheap set of rims for the Blizzacks is intriguing. I'll check it out...
