2004 325XI Alarm system
We recently took delivery of a 2004 325XI. We did not get the factory alarm system. I noticed that several vendors sell the kits for retrofit. Is this just a plug and play into the car, meaning all the wiring is in place?

Most are pre-wired for alarm & c.d players

Here are two pages with DIY installs of alarms on the E46.
http://www.bmw330ci.com/DIY_Files.htm http://www.my330i.com/garage.php You will probably need to have the alarm system turned on by a mechanic with a BMW computer. Join the BMW CCA, find your loacal chapter's website and ask one of the chapter's technical advisers how much they will charge to do it. Jeron
