Rear hinge outside window switch broken
 
The electric switch to open and close the rear hinge window has broken - any ideas how this can be overcome quicky without going into a garage. Can you get the panel off to get to the switch mechanism? Daft female BMW driver !

Get a Bentley repair manual for $60-100 and it will show how to disassemble the panel and get to the switch.

Is this switch with the window switches near the gear shift boot?
