Removing console side panels
 

I have a 2002 330CI 5-speed. I and want to replace the sun glasses compartment. I was wondering if anyone had advice on removing the side panels from the console, this seems like the first step to remove the old compartment.

According to Bentley, you open it, reach in and press up of two tabs at the top and pull forward.

Thanks Jeron, you mentioned Bentley. I assume this comes from a Bentley manual? Can you tell me which one you have. I've been looking for a good reference manual for the car.

I have a Bentley for both of BMWs, E46 and E36. Bentley the best single resource but pricey.

Pelican Sells them, part number PEL-B305. Wayne, owner of Pelican, has a 101-projects book that covers E30 and E36 but it is inexpensive and some the info pertains to E46.
