Stringing dwg for a cab
The strings on the folding top broke, by the rear windows
does any know were I can get a dwg for this? |
top repairs are very time consuming and difficult if i were you i would pay the dealer to do it

the dealer want to install a new liner for $1200 and 5 hrs labour

try it, you cant hurt anything unless you string it in the wrong places. and if it fixes it good and if not then pay the dealer, but atleast you would have tried

I would be very interested to know if you found the drawing. My top has the same exact problem on the driver's side.

you can order 54-31-7-070-381 for the new string, it is like $40 plus shipping
There is a Indy guy who has done a lot of E36 cabs, who will do both sides for about $80 |
