Rocker Panels?????
Have rust issue on driver side rocker, where in the world can you find a replacement panel????I have checked many, many sites and cannot find anything to find out cost. Very frustrating. Have 1999 328i, help......

rocker?
is this an e36 or e 46 body style? doesn't it have a urethane cover over the metal rocker panel? so is the metal under the cover rusted? if the metal panel is rusted it could be repaired or replaced by a local auto body shop. this part may only be available from a dealer or wrecking yard. the wrecking yard should sell you the part for a fraction of the dealer cost, but will require more labor to install. i own an auto body shop in Portland or, i can ive you approx cost of this repair if needed, but i need more details. you can try car-part.com to locate used parts nationwide.
