Cam position sensor
 
Is replaceing the cps as easy as removing one bolt, and installing the new unit? I got a quote for $250 from a shop, and see a new unit costs @$100, and would prefer to save $150 if it is this easy. March 2000 328i.

Never done the M54 but the replacement is easy as long as you can get to them. You should have two.
