2001 330i crank/ no start
2001 330i: The car cranks and won't start. The car overheated yesterday, and I replaced the thermostat. A couple hours later, I went to start the car and it just cranked. The engine control fuse was blown, none other though.
I am at a loss here, feel like I've checked all that I can. The fuel pump primes when key is turned on. The fuel pressure is at 46psi before cranking and at about 60psi while cranking, and holds thereafter. The DME and ignition coil relays are okay as well as the fuel pump relay. I have checked and rechecked the fuses, and they are all okay. The coils are fine, the spark plugs are firing. Pulled the codes last night and found six: (p0270, p0264, p0276, p0267, p0273, p0261) These all correspond to "injector control circuit low" for each of the cylinders. Just pulled the codes again and there are none! UGH! I'm to check the crank position sensor...... any help or ideas would be awesome! Thanks. |
