Flutter noise on cold start of 2001 330
 

My 2001 330 CiC makes a funny fluttering noise when started cold. I don't notice it when it is hot. This sounds like some big piece of plastic or tubing rattling against the frame but it is not real metallic sounding. On my English cars I would have thought an exhaust pipe bumping against something, but again, only at first start-up when cold.

I have done a fair bit of maintenance on the car, control arm bushings, thermostat, brakes, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, stuff like that. I have never seen anything obvious.

This car has a Dinan S Pkg on it, including air box and exhaust with the chip and strut.
