Exterior Door Handle Does Not Open Door Due to Broken Actuator Cable
2001 325ci has been a very unreliable car....my newest problem is that I cannot open the driver side door from the outside handle. Opens perfectly with the inside handle but having to go through passenger door to open drivers door from the inside. I have removed the door panel and discovered that the cable which loops and attaches to the outer handle is broken. HOW DO I INSTALL A NEW CABLE? What do I have to purchase and what are the parts numbers please....The cable running to the inside handle is fine. Thanks in advance.
