02 325xi light control module question
 

My 02 325xi does not have xenon lights nor does it have automatic lights. That said, does anyone know if I can buy the LCM from pelican and plug and play the unit. I've been browsing the site and some of the feedback on lcms has been that it needs to be ordered with the cars VIN# as well as hooked up to the BMW computer to download the odometer data or I will have a tamper light flashing. Just wondering if my car is a simpler LCM fix. The LCM for my car is the only one listed for any e-46, so my assumption might be that it does not need to be ordered with a VIN. any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. thanks, hushpuppy
