Brake Light Still On After Doing Brakes

E46 - 325iT - I replaced rotors, pads, sensors from the Brake Super Kit from our host. After bedding them in they feel great! Pulls straight. Great pedal feel. Antilock works.

I have the indicator light that there is insufficient brake material - time to change pads. I followed the re-set procedure for the light - Key on for 1 minute - and the light persists.

Anyone had this problem or have any ideas?

If I am remembering correctly, that light comes on when the circuit breaks rather than when it grounds, so a bad wire or plug will leave the light on. Are both sensor plugs securely plugged all the way in?

Did you replace all the pads? If so, are the old sensors still in your trash can? You might try the old sensor (the one that did not trigger).
