airbag alarm

I just bought this car and the dealer said he would get the airbag alarm fixed. He just called and advised was having problems making this happen. Does anyone have any info on this problem? They replaced the sensor under the seat and tried to reset the alarm and it won't reset.

Sorry, the holidays got me distracted. It's a 2006 330i. They put a new sensor under the seat and now the alarm won't go away because the computer doesn't see the sensor.

Can't just install new seat mat sensor and clear fault .
When seat mat sensor replace vehicle needs to recoding and programing then initialize/ activation with the test equipment light should go away.
