Unhappy Over-tightened DIA bolts

My car had a vacuum leak and was idling hard and stalling at stop lights. I came home and watched every video I could find on the web and decided to dismantle my car before my husband came home. I replaced the lower intake boot and the DISA. The butterfly on the DISA just spun with no resistance. I cracked the intake manifold where the top left DISA bolt screws in. Help!

Hi Tanya,

Why don't you head over to our tech articles here: BMW Technical Articles - E30 E36 E46 E90 E60 E39 Z3 - Pelican Parts

There may be something that may point you in the right direction. If not, you can always ask a technician in a comment and they should be able to better assist you with your issue.
