Engine compartment wire, where does it go?
 

This is on a 2006 325i E90. I replaced the starter, and had to pull the intake manifold. I took pictures and notes, but there is a "mystery" wire connection on the passenger side. The wire was clipped to a cover for the white electrical junction box. I am hoping it is an unused wire for something the car did not come with. I have looked in areas the connector might reach, but to no avail.

I found out where the wire goes. It goes to this thing on the plastic cowl. The car seems to run better with it hooked up. I do not know what the purpose of it is. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1443332385.jpg
