Power Steering Hose Replacement
Bought an 03 325i for my son two days ago and I knew the power steering was out. Reading here I figured the pump was out. No prob. Finally I get to teach him something about simple repairs. He didn't even know what a Phillips head was. I know, I know.
So I get it home and my problem is that all the hoses are leaking. That shouldn't be a problem either except some of these hoses have a connector that I have never seen before. Here is a picture. How do you get them off and then back on?

Never mind but i may have a fix for no grey ring
I finally found it is a compression fitting like an air compressor. But several of mine have no grey rings. I think I have an easier fix than dremeling for that and if it works, I'll post it.
