Front Strut replacement trouble.
I have recently removed front strut and have replaced with new strut and spring from pelican of correct size for BMW 323i 2000 w sport suspension. I have removed tie rod and brake caliper hose bracket in order to fully move around wheel hub assembly. I am unable to get the strut back in place. Does not seem to be enough room to raise back up into wheel well and slide back into position.
Totally scratching my head on this one, because all I've seen on sites is that it should easily slide back in place. Only thing I can think of is to remove control arm in order to drop wheel assembly lower, but this seems excessive. Any thoughts? |
