radiator tank split?

This appears to be a pressure-related failure on my daughter's 85K mile 328i. A one-hour job to remove, but straightforward.
It looks like a dealer-only part--any idea how much it costs?

I think I'd heard that they were around $70(!). You can probably find them for less - check with our host.

Just checked, Pelican sells the Coolant Expansion Tank for $67.25
It is not an uncommon problem, by the way. Radiator, water pump and other coolant related parts can and do fail around the 60,000 mile mark on these cars.

Thanks Kurt. It looked like such a specialized piece that I thought it would be dealer only. Pelican comes through again!
